ELIGHT CLOSING SPIDER VEINS

LASER THEAD VEIN REMOVAL IS A NON-INVASIVE TREATMENT THAT ELIMINATES THE APPEARANCE OF UNSIGHTLY THREAD VEINS, OR SPIDER VEINS AS THEY ARE SOMETIMES CALLED, THAT ARE COMMONLY FOUND ON THE FACE.

The laser delivers light energy into your skin which is absorbed by the blood within the targeted vein. Once this energy is absorbed by the blood the vein will heat up, causing the vein walls to collapse and disappear.

What you can expect on day of treatment:

Before your treatment a gel will be applied to the area being treated, this ensures the laser is delivered appropriately and will cool the area during and after the treatment. Your practitioner will move the laser over your skin and pulse the energy as they follow the length of the vein. Safety goggles will be provided to protect your eyes, but you may still see flashes of light.

You will feel a mild sensation and heat during the treatment. The vessels may blanch, grey or change colour immediately but these will fade in about ten to fourteen days. Patients find this procedure comfortable and can return to normal activity immediately afterwards.
